The V&A Series Hobonichi Pencil Board for Weeks (Museum Stereographic Photograph) is made in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London) and sized to fit the Weeks techo. Designs for the A5 and A6 sizes are sold separately.

For this design, an early photograph of the South Kensington Museum has been selected. It allows you to sense the museums pioneering role in the field of photography. The reverse side is grey.

The back has markings at 1 mm intervals along the long edge, so it can also be used as a ruler.

The corner of the pencil board includes a Today tab, which will act as a bookmark to show which day youre on if you put it between the pages of your techo.

These look wonderful when paired with the V&A Series techo covers and books, and coordinating them is highly recommended.

The V&A celebrates design and creativity in all its forms. It was founded in London in 1852 to advance cultural knowledge, and inspire makers, creators and innovators everywhere through a diverse collection of objects from around the world.

Today, the V&A continues to share a 5,000-year-old story of creativity, through its ever-evolving collection spanning every creative discipline, from art, design, fashion, photography and furniture to theatre, performance, architecture, and ceramics.

Small Details, Big Difference

• Photographys early days, weekly: An early photograph of the South Kensington Museum fronts the board, with a quiet slate grey on the reverse.
• Steadier writing on thin paper: Tuck it behind the page and your pen never leaves ridges in the sheet below.
• Smooth all the way through: Yupo synthetic paper is cool and satin-smooth to the touch, and the 1 mm markings along the long edge mean you are never without a ruler.
