This transparent Hobonichi Pencil Board was made for the Hobonichi Techo HON. This is the A5 size, cut to fit the A5 HON exactly, and it reduces indentations on the opposite page for a much smoother writing experience. The A6 size is a separate item, sold on its own.

Because the HON is designed to be used casually without a cover, we have included a convenient pen hook so you can carry a pen right alongside it. Simply clip your pen onto the hook, and it will be right there whenever you are ready to write.

The clear PVC material is printed all over with a 5 mm grid in a muted navy colour. The long edge features a 1 mm scale, while the short edge has both 0.5 mm and 1/16-inch markings, so it can also double as a ruler.

Once you try the Hobonichi Pencil Board, you will quickly feel the difference. We hope you give it a go.

Note: the scales on this product are provided for reference only and do not guarantee accurate measurements.

What Makes It Work So Well

• No ghosts on the following page: Slide it under the sheet you are writing on and the pressure of your pen stops there, so the next page in your A5 HON never wears the shadow of yesterday’s list.
• A pen hook, because HON goes coverless: The A5 HON is made to be carried without a cover, so a pen clips straight onto the board and travels with the book instead of vanishing into a bag.
• Thin, cool and quietly ruled: At 0.4 mm the clear PVC is barely there beneath your hand, printed with a muted navy 5 mm grid and scaled along both edges for whenever you want a straight line.
