The Hobonichi Drawer Pouch Pocket in Bow & Tie: Sheep Sheep Sheep takes the smallest job in a bag and makes it the tidiest. It is a mini pouch roughly the size of a card wallet, cut from genuine necktie cloth in a vivid pasture green, with a flock of small white sheep worked into the weave rather than printed on top of it. One dozes. One clears a fence. One, improbably, is on a skateboard.

The cloth carries the faint lustre and fine rib you would recognise from a good tie, and it warms in your hand within a minute of holding it. Open it and the pouch unfolds accordion-style into four zones, so cards sit in one, keys in another, and a lip balm or a pair of earbuds fill the rest. A removable hook strap lets you hang it inside a bag rather than let it sink. For 2027, the Year of the Sheep, a whole flock in your pocket seems only reasonable.

Small Details, Big Difference

• Nothing sinks to the bottom: You clip it inside your bag on the hook strap, and your keys stop burrowing under everything else. You always know where they are.
• Four zones, no rummaging: You open it and see the whole contents at once, cards on one side, coins and balm on the other, so you never tip a pouch out on a shop counter again.
• It softens as you carry it: A week in a coat pocket and the weave relaxes without losing its sheen, and you stop treating it carefully and start simply using it.

Please note: the woven fabric snags on sharp objects, so keep scissors and blades in something sturdier.
