The V&A Series Hobonichi Pencil Board for A6 Size (V&As Foundation Stone Programme) is made in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London) and sized to fit the A6 Original techo. Designs for the A5 and Weeks sizes are sold separately.

This design features the official programme from the foundation stone laying ceremony held in 1899, the historic occasion when the museum was officially renamed the Victoria and Albert Museum. The reverse side is mint green.

The back has markings at 1 mm intervals along the long edge, so it can also be used as a ruler.

The corner of the pencil board includes a Today tab, which will act as a bookmark to show which day youre on if you put it between the pages of your techo.

These look wonderful when paired with the V&A Series techo covers and books, and coordinating them is highly recommended.

The V&A celebrates design and creativity in all its forms. It was founded in London in 1852 to advance cultural knowledge, and inspire makers, creators and innovators everywhere through a diverse collection of objects from around the world.

Today, the V&A continues to share a 5,000-year-old story of creativity, through its ever-evolving collection spanning every creative discipline, from art, design, fashion, photography and furniture to theatre, performance, architecture, and ceramics.

Designed with You (and Your Ideas) in Mind

• A slice of 1899 in your pocket: The programme from the museums foundation stone ceremony is printed small enough to live inside an A6 techo, with a soft mint green on the reverse.
• No dents, no skidding: Slide it under the page you are writing on and your ballpoint stays steady while the sheet beneath stays perfectly smooth.
• Cool, smooth and always ready: Yupo synthetic paper feels satin-smooth between the fingers and is thin enough to live permanently in your Original techo without anyone noticing.
