The V&A Series Hobonichi Pencil Board for A5 Size (Architectural Drawing) is made in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London) and sized to fit the A5 Cousin techo. Designs for the A6 and Weeks sizes are sold separately.

This design features the architectural plan of the Cast Courts, which were built to fit life-size casts of great European works of art from Trajans Column to Michelangelos David. The reverse side is sax blue.

The back has markings at 1 mm intervals along the long edge, so it can also be used as a ruler.

The corner of the pencil board includes a Today tab, which will act as a bookmark to show which day youre on if you put it between the pages of your techo.

These look wonderful when paired with the V&A Series techo covers and books, and coordinating them is highly recommended.

The V&A celebrates design and creativity in all its forms. It was founded in London in 1852 to advance cultural knowledge, and inspire makers, creators and innovators everywhere through a diverse collection of objects from around the world.

Today, the V&A continues to share a 5,000-year-old story of creativity, through its ever-evolving collection spanning every creative discipline, from art, design, fashion, photography and furniture to theatre, performance, architecture, and ceramics.

Precision in the Details

• A museum plan on your desk: The Cast Courts drawing turns a plain writing board into something worth pausing over, and the calm sax blue reverse is always there for days when you would rather not be distracted.
• Firmer, quieter writing: Slip it under the page and your pen never skids, and no indentations press into the sheet below.
• Slim, smooth, unobtrusive: Yupo synthetic paper is cool and satin-smooth to the touch at just 0.4 mm thick, with 1 mm markings along the long edge when a ruler is called for.
