Some papers are made for writing; Soliste was made for expression. Conceived by a visionary publishing sales rep and realised through meticulous collaboration with the Sendai Mill in Kagoshima, Soliste is the result of a mission to craft a high-bulk book paper without the common fading flaw.

Back in the day, bulky paper relied on ground pulpgreat for heft, but rich in lignin, which causes yellowing over time. The solution? Years of trial runs, tweaks, and a commitment to long-term quality. In 2002, Soliste emerged: a non-fading, ink-friendly marvel with just the right texture and depth.

The roughened surface offers both tactile satisfaction and ink absorbency, giving fountain pen colours extra richness. Whether you’re printing, sketching, or drafting the next literary opus, this paper ensures every stroke stays sharpno bleed, no back-show.
