As its name delightfully suggests, Onion Skin Paper is feather-light and semi-translucentreminiscent of its tear-prone namesake, though considerably more robust. Once the darling of airmail correspondents and Bible printers alike, its strength-to-weight ratio is the stuff of archival legend.

Yamamoto Paper has taken this classic and given it a velvety twist. By using dry-wheel drying instead of traditional natural methods, they’ve created a supremely smooth surface that welcomes your pen with open arms. Fountain pens, alcohol markers, oil-based pensyou name it, this paper handles them all without flinching. Despite its gossamer-thin profile, it boasts impressive ink resistance and exceptional colour vibrancy. No bleed-through, no ghosting, just uninterrupted writing pleasure.
