This elegant six-pack from TWSBI is a small homage to a very big book. The 1791 Ink Combo Colour Pack draws its palette from Dream of the Red Chamber, one of Chinas four great classical novels, first published inrather fittingly1791.

Rather than literal illustration, TWSBI has chosen colours inspired by the novels architectural details and evocative descriptions, resulting in a harmonious set that feels literary, expressive, and quietly refined. Each ink comes in a compact 18ml frosted glass bottle, ideal for sampling a range of colours without committing to heroic volumes. Available for a limited time only, this set is as much a collectors curiosity as it is a thoroughly usable writing companion.
