A mechanical pencil with the manners of a fountain pencivilised, slightly ceremonial, and rather satisfying to use. The Pentel Kerry Mechanical Pencil Special Set celebrates a design that has endured since 1971, offering not merely a writing instrument, but a small ritual: uncap, click, and begin.

Its weight and balance lend it a reassuring sense of occasion, while the polished details provide a quiet hint of luxury without tipping into excess. Unlike most mechanical pencils, the Kerry feels deliberatesomething you choose to use, rather than simply reach for.

This limited edition set includes everything needed to get started, making it as practical as it is gift-worthy. A fine example of form and function getting along rather well indeed.
