The mt x SOU.SOU Neko Washi Tape is a procession of cats, drawn with the flat, confident simplicity SOU.SOU brings to everything it puts on cloth. They repeat along a single 15mm roll of Japanese washi paper, printed by mt, and they are, as cats tend to be, entirely unbothered by whatever you had planned for the page.

The washi is thin, matt and faintly warm to the touch, tearing square between finger and thumb without a ragged edge. It sticks at once and lifts away just as willingly. Write across it in pencil or biro and the line holds.

Why You’ll Love It

• Never outstays its welcome: You peel it from a page, a jar or a painted wall and nothing is left behind, no residue and no lifted paint.
• Goes further than you expect: You use it slowly at 15mm, so one roll covers months of margins, labels and small repairs.
• Raises a smile every time: You come across the cats mid-notebook weeks later and they still land.
