A charming and elegant addition to any garden, Magnolia stellata Rosea is a compact, slow-growing deciduous tree or large shrub, ideal for smaller spaces. It is one of the earliest magnolias to flower, producing a breathtaking display from late winter to early spring.Masses of fragrant, star-shaped blooms appear on bare branches before the foliage emerges. The flowers open in soft light pink tones and gradually fade to white as they mature, creating a delicate and ever-changing floral display. As the flowering finishes, new leaves emerge with a subtle bronze tint before maturing into a rich, dark glossy green. In autumn, the foliage turns attractive shades of yellow to copper, adding seasonal colour before leaf fall. This variety is well suited as a feature tree in courtyards, small gardens, or near entrances, where its early flowering can be fully appreciated.
