Some pens simply write; this one teaches. The LAMY ABC Fountain Pen has long been a trusted companion for those first careful letters, designed in collaboration with educators to make learning feel natural rather than forced.

Its generously sized, non-slip grip gently insists on proper finger placementno awkward gripping, no creeping bad habits. The maple wood barrel adds a reassuring warmth and lightness, while the cube-shaped end ensures the pen stays put when set down (a small mercy in lively classrooms).

At the heart of it all is the stainless steel nib. The beginner-friendly A nib, with its rounded tip, glides smoothly and forgives the occasional wobble, allowing young writers to focus on forming letters with confidence. For Left-Handed users, a specially designed nib is available to accommodate different writing anglesbecause writing should adapt to the writer, not the other way round.
