Hydrangea Bichon is a beautiful deciduous shrub that brings timeless elegance to the garden with its large, rounded mophead blooms of pure white. As the season progresses, the flowers gradually soften to a delicate pale green in autumn, extending its ornamental appeal well beyond summer. Unlike many hydrangeas, the flower colour of Bichon remains crisp white regardless of soil pH, making it a dependable choice for gardeners wanting consistent colour year after year. Forming a neat, compact shrub with lush green foliage, Hydrangea ‘Bichon’ is ideal for cottage gardens, shaded borders, woodland-style plantings and feature pots. It performs best in a position with morning sun and afternoon shade, where it receives protection from the harsh afternoon heat.

Soil: Moist, well-drained soil.

Conditions: Part sun/part shade to full shade. Coastal and frost tolerant once established.
