  • This Hobonichi Techo Weeks is covered in printed fabric from Liberty Fabrics, a brand born in Britain with devoted fans around the world.

Inspired by the healing power of plants, the Floral Remedy design was carefully illustrated by hand in the Liberty Fabrics studio using a combination of pencil and watercolour. The illustrations include chamomile, apple blossom, lily of the valley, St. Johns wort, wild violet, and cranberry, forming a quiet herbal garden where scientific precision and artistic sensibility are artfully entwined.

The fabric is Tana Lawn, a proprietary cotton material developed by Liberty Fabrics. It feels so silky-smooth that youll never want to stop touching it.

The year 2027 appears on the front and spine, and the name HOBONICHI appears on the back cover, all foil-pressed in matte silver.

The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

The Hobonichi Techo Weeks comes with a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The pages are made of thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper that holds ink well, providing a smooth writing experience.

In addition to the monthly calendars and weekly pages, there are also plenty of grid-lined memo pages.

The back of the book contains bonus pages. Both the Japanese and English editions feature standard favourites like My 100 and the 365 Days Check-Off Sheet, as well as new additions like Phrases to Break That Writers Block and the Hobonichis Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map, among others.

If youd like to customise the look of your Weeks or add space to store accessories, you can pair it with a Weeks cover.

Liberty Fabrics is a fabric brand founded in Britain. Captivated by the beauty of Japanese arts and crafts he encountered at the Great Exhibition, Arthur Lasenby Liberty (18431917) opened a small shop in London in 1875 to introduce Eastern art, craft, and fabric to the West.

The delicate silk textiles and hand-dyed calico he carried gained a devoted following among Aesthetic Movement artists and others, and by the 1880s, he had begun printing high-quality cotton fabrics that combined refined beauty with durability, leading to the birth of Liberty Fabrics.

In the 1920s, the brand developed Tana Lawn, a premium cotton with a silky sheen, soft hand, luxurious drape, and a light weight. Ever since, the brand has continued to create its distinctive prints, which feature flowers, birds, plants, and Art Nouveau motifs rendered in rich colour palettes and exquisitely fine lines.

    Small Details, Big Difference

    • Tana Lawn, and you will keep touching it: Liberty’s own fine cotton is silky-smooth under the fingers, printed with chamomile, apple blossom and wild violet in soft pencil and watercolour washes.
    • A week you can read at a glance: The left page runs your week horizontally and the right is blank graph paper, so no errand and no idea has to share a line.
    • Always flat, always portable: Wallet-sized, with thread-stitched Tomoe River pages that lie open at 180 degrees; it never demands a desk before you can write.
