A staple of Hobonichi’s techo lineup, the Colors series is available in a variety of solid colours and features “butterfly-stopper” pen holders. We’ve implemented many improvements over the years in response to customer input, making the Colors series one of our most user-friendly options.

This Colors cover pairs a bordeaux exterior with terracotta on the inside for a sophisticated look. Though the design is simple, the red tones add a stylish accent to any outfit, making it the perfect choice for anyone who wants to use their techo with a touch of grown-up elegance.

The cover’s high-quality polyester material gives it its sturdy feel and subtle shine. It’s durable enough to last a long time but light enough to carry with you everywhere.

The “butterfly-stopper” type covers feature pen holders designed like a hinge. You can keep a pen inserted through the two loops to prevent the cover from opening when it’s inside your bag.

The cover contains two bookmarks, one with a rectangular charm and another with a triangular one, so you can keep your place at two different points that you often flip to.

Sold separately is the Cover on Cover. In addition to protecting your cover from wear and tear, the Cover on Cover is a great place to store postcards, pictures, and other decorations to customise your cover at any time. We also offer illustrated versions, allowing you to enjoy a variety of fun looks by mixing and matching the printed patterns with the colour of your cover.

Beauty Meets Function

• Grown-up colour, quietly done: A deep wine bordeaux opens onto warm terracotta within, a red that reads as elegant rather than loud and sits happily against every coat you own.
• A smooth, sturdy hand: The polyester feels taut and lightly glossed between your fingers, tough enough for a year of bags and pockets yet light enough that you never think twice about taking it out.
• It stays shut until you say so: The hinged butterfly-stopper takes a pen through both loops to hold the cover closed, and two charmed bookmarks keep a pair of pages within reach all year.
