Helichrysum petiolare Silver Lining is a versatile and attractive perennial, prized for its aromatic silver-grey foliage that releases a strong licorice scent when touched. The soft, velvety leaves bring year-round colour and texture to garden landscapes, creating a striking contrast against darker green plants.Small yellow flowers appear among the silvery foliage, adding a subtle touch of colour without detracting from the plants distinctive appearance. Silver Lining responds well to regular clipping, making it ideal for low hedging or shaping along retaining walls and curved paths. With its cascading growth habit and trailing stems, this plant is perfect for ground cover, hanging baskets, or spilling over the edges of pots and garden beds. Easy to grow and adaptable, it adds softness, fragrance, and visual interest to a wide range of garden styles.
