Hardenbergia Purple Spray is a vigorous, fast-growing Australian native climber or sprawling shrub celebrated for its spectacular display of vivid purple pea-shaped flowers from winter through spring. The masses of blooms blanket the rich green foliage, creating a dazzling purple spray effect, while fresh new growth emerges with attractive burgundy tones. Versatile and hardy, it can be trained over fences, pergolas and trellises, or used as a dense groundcover for banks and garden beds. Purple Spray attracts birds and pollinators, and once established, it is a low-maintenance choice for native, coastal and cottage-style gardens.
