Esterbrook spent the better part of a century making nibs, so it knows the shape rather well. The Esterbrook Nib Bookmark is a slim metal bookmark cut in the silhouette of a classic nib tines, breather hole and all which is a quietly perfect thing to leave sticking out of a book.

It’s thin enough not to splay the spine and heavy enough to stay exactly where you put it. Slide it between pages and the nib tip peeks over the top edge, so you always find your place at a glance. It makes an extremely easy present for anyone who writes.

Small Details, Big Difference

• Shaped like the real thing: Cut from the profile of a classic Esterbrook nib, down to the breather hole. Anyone who writes will recognise it instantly.
• Thin where it counts: Slim enough that it never splays a spine, even in a paperback you’re halfway through.
• It stays put: Metal has the weight paper bookmarks lack, so it never slides out in a bag.
