Some pens shout. The Esterbrook Estie simply clears its throat and begins. Cut from high-grade acrylic resin in six colourways the deep piano black of Ebony, the warm amber shell of Tortoise, the golden cells of Honeycomb, the inky depths of Nouveau Blue, the leafy sprawl of Botanical Gardens and the pale tidal wash of Sea Glass each is finished in your choice of bright palladium or warm gold trim.

You’ll notice the cap first. It closes on a cushion, so you never over-tighten it and never wrestle it open. The barrel is generously proportioned without being unwieldy, sitting warm and solid in your hand through a long letter or a longer meeting. This is a pen for people who write because they want to, not because they must.

Beauty Meets Function

• A nib you can change your mind about: The #6 JoWo steel nib is engraved Esterbrook 1858 and unscrews in seconds, so you swap extra fine for a 1.1mm stub whenever the mood takes you. Never scratchy, always ready.
• A cap that thinks for you: The cushion closure seals with a gentle turn and stops itself. You don’t force it, you don’t strip it, and your nib never dries out between Tuesdays.
• Resin with real depth: Hold one to the light and the colour moves these are poured, cured and turned, never printed. No two barrels are quite identical.

Your pen arrives with a standard international converter fitted, so you can fill from any bottled ink straight away. Standard international cartridges fit too, should you prefer them.
