BGM’s Kissa la Mode series has always had a soft spot for the old-fashioned Japanese coffee shop: cream sodas, wobbling puddings and a corner booth you never quite want to leave. With BGM Kissa la Mode Meets Foil Flake Stickers, the caf opens its doors to guest illustrators, and each brings a distinctly personal take on the menu.

Fancy Retro, drawn by aya.m, is playful and a touch surreal, with aurora foil that flashes pink and green as you tilt it. A Sweet Break, by fujiko, is all soft colour and gold foil: pancakes, tarts and coffee you can almost smell. Each pack holds 40 washi paper flakes in 10 designs, with a gentle matte texture that feels lovely under your fingertips.

Small Details, Big Difference

• Two illustrators, two moods: You choose between aya.m’s retro-pop whimsy and fujiko’s warm, painterly caf menu, so your pages always feel like yours.
• Foil that catches the eye: Aurora or gold foil stamping adds a quiet gleam to every flake without ever overwhelming your handwriting.
• Washi you can work with: The thin paper lies flat and never adds bulk, so you decorate planners, letters and envelopes with ease.
